The Arts Foundation teamed up with the City, and the American Canyon Middle School's Art program to produce an exciting art project. Since it was an Earth Day event and the theme was reusing plastic, we developed an art project that used recycled plastic water bottles. Closing out the show in great style! The Artist Reception and Silent Auction was a great as it was rewarding! Many of our artists were there, along with friends, family and members. Thanks to our incredible hosts, SpringHill Suites Marriott Napa Valley, we had great wine from Jamieson Ranch Vineyards and food from Frida's Mexican Grill in Napa. People's Choice Winners Announced!
With the show over, the last thing to do is tally up who won the People's Choice award. Some 70 visitors cast their votes, and here are the results. In third place is Gioro's "In The Eyes of a Child." Second place was Misuk Goltz' "Hannah." And the winner was Jonette McNaughton's "Endangered."
