Holi Festival Success! March 24, 2019

Despite the weather, dozens of people celebrated Holi Festival of Colors at Shenandoah Park in American Canyon, on Sunday, March 24. Thanks to Arvind Nischal's nonprofit group, Helping Hand, everyone had a great opportunity to splash colors, create others with a colorful smile and enjoys snacks.

Mayor Leon Garcia noted he likes to stop by Goodwill before the event and get white painter pants and shirt--that way, it's easy to dispose of the colorful aftermath (although the colored powder does wash out--after a few washings!).

Thanks to Arvind, everyone had a wonderful afternoon.
