Middle Eastern Cultural Event

June 4, 2017

Sign up for the traditional Arabic Dinner!

Join us to learn about Middle Eastern culture and the Islamic faith, which is such an integral part of that culture. We will have samples of art, dress and culture inside the ACHS cafeteria. There will be an overview of Islam, what it is and isn't. Because this event is held during Ramadan, we will explain its meaning and offer participants a traditional iftar dinner after dusk.

This event is free and open to the public. There is plenty of free parking at the school. It is also kid-friendly, so bring your entire family.

The event is Friday, June 16, from 7:00-9:30pm at the American Canyon High School Cafeteria.  The event is sponsored in part by grants from the City of American Canyon and the Arts Council Napa Valley, and by Council member Mariam Aboudamous and her family.
