The secret to successful organizations is the membership.  And the secret to building members is providing quality services and opportunities. Although we are a nonprofit charitable organizaton, our member artists are essential to our long term success.  The services noted below is the return on investment (ROI) for joining the American Canyon Arts Foundation.

shows and receptions

Of all our shows, the annual Art Extravaganza is our main event. This juried art show attracts artists throughout the North Bay, and is part of the Napa Valley Arts in April program.

 

We offer additional shows and receptions throughout the year, and work with local businesses, such as the Chamber's  American Canyon Welcome Center, to offer our member artists a space to show their work.  We also encourage participation in neighboring cities' shows.

workshops and field trips

You can always learn more about art, and the Foundation is committed to providing opportunities to learn and explore. We produce workshops and demonstrations for our members as well as organize field trips to local and regional museums and galleries. Even our annual Membership Dinner includes a guest speaker to keep us informed on the latest issues in the world of art.

We produce a monthly newsletter--The Informer--and maintain a listing of current events & shows on this website.  We also maintain a FaceBook page and plan on developing other social media outlets.
